Close Ups

I like this photo because it has a range of different colours going on but it doesn't take away from the main image. I also like the angle the photo has been taken at because its not just straight on, its like getting down to it at eye level.

I also like this photo because of the range of colours on a plain, dull background. Also i think its a good photo because its almost a circle made out of straight lines. I think it is creative because its made out of colour pens.

Rule of thirds

This photo on the left had a focus in the middle this means that it doesn't follow the rule of thirds. I have opened it into photo shop and cropped it so that it follows the rule of thirds. As you can see the main focus is now to the right. I think that its better like this because the main focus will now catch the eye of the viewer.

This photo i have taken is a great example of the rule of thirds because the main focus is to the left.

Pattern

 This is a simple photo of the flooring in our school. I like this photo because the pattern is scattered around. Its all light colours in a random pattern, its like mosaic tiling.

Colour

This picture is showing the contrast in colour, the bright red colour in the image stands out on the cream background so the main focus is stood out more.

Line

This photo is focusing on the lines in the image, it was taken on a digital camera and i got down to eye level to take it. I like this photo because you can instantly see what the main focus is. 

Texture

This photo is focusing on the textures. It shows the ripples on the water and the smooth water around out feet.

Can you make a photo look interesting?

This photo is a bad photo because it is not focused on one item and there is objects around the main image which means that the viewer will be distracted when looking at this photo. 

  

This is a good photo because it is a close up of one image. It has a good focus and there is nothing in the back ground to distract the viewer.
